Onlinecalc

Analyse your PPP-Connections

Last Update: Sun Jun 09 10:22:49 CEST 2002

NOTE! I have no time to maintain onlinecalc at the moment! SO THERE WILL BE NO SUPPORT! eMails regarding onlinecalc will be slightly ignored - sorry. For help please visit the onlineforum under http://www.adsl4linux.de. Thanks.

What is it?

onlinecalc helps you to analyse your PPP-Connections. It summarizes your online time, transfer volume, and number of connections made to your ISP. It allows you to print out statistics concerning different date and time ranges. A CGI version of onlinecalc is also included.

How does it work?

NOTE: Onlinecalc only works with the PPP-Daemon pppd (Linux) or with "user ppp" (BSD).

The script "onlinecalc" understands several commandline-options:

Options: -d prints out the data for today
-m prints out the data for this month
-y prints out the data for this year
<pattern> prints out the data included "pattern"

How does it look like?

Installation

The installation is really simple: Just execute the new install-script included in the package (Linux only). If you want to do the installation manually, have a look at the README's included in the package.
